Here is a new track I am working on:
It isn’t finished but it’s pretty close. I could probably stand to add a bit more variation in the drums at times as well at more atmospheric effects. For now though, I’m going to add it to the pile of works in progress. If I can organize my shit I might be able to put together an EP, who knows. More things to come!
I used alchemy a lot in this. I approached it kind of like a cave man, twisting random knobs and setting arbitrary automation. I found that while messing with the parameters, I could be recording to a specific track (in Ableton). I would do this for a minute or so and then chop up the recording. This is a very fun approach to synthesizing noise lol. Loop a drum pattern and go to town.
